A Little Adventure... On My Own!!!!!!

Last weekend was a little bit of a downer... I was going to watch conference and stuff but than I ended up spending most of Saturday in the Hospital and that was just way boring... so this week I had to do better and decided to go on an adventure...

I WENT TO SANTA CRUZ!!!!!!!!

It was so fun and I had a great time:)  I have pictures to show and everything!!!!  

At first I was really scared to go because I had never been and I was going by myself... plus California is not like Idaho so I am always a little worried about adventuring off :)

Ok so when I got to Santa Cruz I drove around town a while... of course I was not lost... till I found signs saying which way to the boardwalk!!!!  This made me happy and I headed that direction... I was so close I could see how to get in... but I was till in my car and had no place for my car.. yet...

Driving by... knowing I was in the right place!!!!

I could see other cars parked in parking lots and was like "Why cant my car be in there too???"  hahah...

I found all the exits to the parking lots and was thinking it was hopeless... why did I even try to do this... I cant even find a parking spot... haahha... Than I found the entrance and got all excited and hurried and parked and went on in!!!!

Is was excited... there were lots of rides and lots of beer and lots of places to eat and lots of ways to spend money... of course I didnt for all you how know me :)  

I basically checked everything out first and than went back and really enjoyed it... I wanted to know what I was getting into before going head first :)  I found the beach first!!!!

As I was walking and looking at everyone having so much fun with their families and friends... I decided I needed to have a friend... well that was not going to happen so I just decided I would be my own friend :)  

I went on this ride!!!!  It was way fun and I got all wet... of course the people you see are not me because I could not take the picture and go on it at the same time... hahaha...  But I really liked having the whole thing to myself!!!!!!

After that I thought I would dry off down by the beach... so to the water I went!!!!!  It was beautiful and I loved it sooooo much!!!!! I think I will have an ocean around my mountain and large home someday!!!! :) :) :)

I enjoyed getting more wet than I should :) :)

I only took a picture of this much wet but I was a lot wetter and had to do more drying than I had planned on!!!!!!

After reading my book for a while and texting with my sisters I was finally dry... I decided I needed to try something new... 

Perfect idea... Dippin Dots!!!!!  I had never had them but they were delicious!!!!!

It was like a party in my mouth!!!!

I think we should eat this more often... 

They were going fast and I was loving every bite!!!!!!  I looked around a little more and decided I would start heading back to my car... I had been there for like 3 hours so I figured why not???

Started driving and decided not to go home the same way I came... this time I really was not lost and knew totally where I was thanks to my map and road sings!!!!

I decided to take the 1 all the way up towards San Francisco and Half Moon Bay... it was a beautiful drive... The 1 runs along the water basically the whole way so I was loving all the scenery!!!!!  

I even stopped to take a few pictures... because I am not good at driving and navigating and being the photographer :)

I got to Half Moon Bay... found a great parking spot for free and started walking!!!!  I went into like every store and could have spent so much money :) 

There were lots of cool things like this that I think are sooooo awesome... I did not buy any but I sure wanted to... I ended getting a new wallet though... I really liked it and I have only ever had the one wallet I had... I justified it by saying that I had not bought anything all day and I also needed a new wallet :)  I really like it too!!!!!

The hardest place to not spend money was here... I love turtles like no other and this place had lots of them... big huge ones and little small ones... but I refrained and they were closing anyway... lame!

This is the one I fell in love with :)  It was so beautiful... I just cant stand it!!!!!!

Thats basically it folks... here is a map of where I went today... everything highlighted I where I drove... I would say I covered a good amount today!!!  Go me:)

I will of course do something else next Saturday so take a look next week and I will have more adventures to tell about!!!!!!
